博士研究員 (JSPS)
Marian was born in a small town called Alchevsk in the east of Ukraine. After finishing high school, he studied chemistry at the National Taras Shevchenko University (Kyiv, Ukraine) and then, as a French Government fellow, at the University Paul Sabatier (Toulouse, France) where he obtained his M.Sc. degree in Applied Chemistry in 2012. He subsequently moved to Strasbourg (France) to pursue his PhD training under the supervision of Dr Joseph Moran (Institut de Science et d’Ingénierie Supramoléculaires, I.S.I.S.) where his research, supported by Région Alsace graduate fellowship, was centered on the application of organocatalysis and supramolecular aggregation for the activation of strong carbon–heteroatom bonds. After graduation in 2016 and supported by JSPS Fellowship, he moved to Japan to enroll in his Postdoctoral training with Prof. Makoto Fujita at the University of Tokyo.
